Terms of Service
These website terms explain the boundary between online planning information and the customer-specific written quote or project paperwork that controls actual work.
Using the website
The website is for learning about countertop options, planning a project, requesting a callback, and sharing project details with Candys. Submitting a form asks Candys to contact and review the project; it does not accept a quote, authorize work or payment, reserve an installation date, or create a project contract.
- Do not submit false contact information, spam, unrelated files, or someone else's private information without permission.
- Do not try to break, scrape, overload, copy, or misuse the website, estimator, forms, uploads, or admin systems.
Online results are preliminary ranges
The online planning flow helps estimate a countertop budget from information entered by the visitor and current configuration assumptions. It is not a final quote, contract, appraisal, measurement, accuracy guarantee, or promise that the project can be completed for the displayed range.
- Final pricing is confirmed only after an approved on-site measurement and scope confirmation.
- The formal quote may be higher or lower than the online range once project details are verified.
The accepted written quote controls the project
A customer-specific written quote and any signed project paperwork control the actual work. They must identify the parties, project location, scope, material, price, taxes or fees when applicable, expiration, acceptance method, payment terms, scheduling conditions, exclusions, change-order process, cancellation or rescheduling terms, and any written workmanship remedy or credit.
- Website ranges, examples, calls, emails, and text messages do not change an accepted written quote unless the parties make a written change.
- If accepted project paperwork conflicts with general website information, the accepted project paperwork controls that project to the extent allowed by law.
No website quote credit is active
Candys does not currently advertise or create an automatic No-Surprise Quote Credit, discount, cash refund, price-match remedy, or range guarantee through this website. A future credit may be used only after the owner and attorney approve the amount or formula, eligibility, exclusions, documentation, claim process, expiration, and remedy.
- If a customer-specific written quote later includes an approved credit, only that written offer and its stated conditions apply.
- The online range alone never creates a credit, discount, final price, or binding remedy.
What can change the final price
Countertop pricing depends on details that may not be fully known online.
- Material availability, vendor pricing, and slab selection.
- Exact measurements, piece count, layout, seams, and edge details.
- Access conditions, stairs, elevators, distance, and site readiness.
- Demolition needs, hidden conditions, and disposal requirements.
- Exotic or special-order materials and add-ons that require confirmation.
Material availability
Stone colors, slab sizes, and supplier costs can change before a project is quoted. Exotic and special-order materials receive a planning range online, but final pricing depends on vendor sourcing and availability at the time of review.
Site review and formal quote
After a request is submitted, Candys targets an initial response within 24 business hours. In-home visits are by appointment, with Saturday slots when scheduling allows. Candys targets a written quote within 1 week after an approved on-site visit. These are service targets, not guaranteed deadlines, unless a customer-specific written quote expressly says otherwise.
Project details and communication
Customers are responsible for sharing accurate measurements, access notes, material preferences, fixture choices, and contact information. Candys may contact the customer to confirm missing details before preparing or honoring a formal quote.
Payment, deposits, and scheduling
The website does not collect payment-card details or accept online deposits. There is no universal public deposit, balance, payment method, quote-expiration, cancellation-fee, or rescheduling rule. Each applicable term must be stated clearly in the customer-specific written quote or project paperwork before acceptance. Scheduling can depend on customer readiness, access, material availability, weather, supplier timing, permits when applicable, and crew availability.
Cancellation terms and legal rights
The written quote must state the project-specific cancellation and rescheduling process before acceptance. Nothing on this website waives a right or notice that cannot lawfully be waived. Depending on where and how a consumer transaction is agreed, Texas or federal law may require a cancellation notice or other disclosures.
- Before Candys accepts a contract or payment away from its place of business, the owner and attorney must determine whether a three-business-day cancellation notice or another rule applies.
- When law requires the contract, receipt, or cancellation notice to use the principal language of the sales presentation, Candys must provide the required document in that language.
Work outside the quote
Unless the written quote says otherwise, Candys does not provide plumbing, electrical, cabinet repair, wall repair, permit work, appliance work, hidden-damage repair, or third-party material warranties. Customer-supplied materials and fixtures remain subject to their own supplier terms.
Website content and examples
Website photos, material descriptions, care guidance, examples, and price ranges are general information. Demo, vendor, style-preview, or AI-generated images are not finished Candys projects or exact representations of a slab unless they are clearly labeled and supported by the matching source and permission record.
- An image labeled as an AI design visualization is a concept for color and room context, not a photograph of current inventory, the exact slab a customer will receive, or completed Candys work.
- Natural stone varies by slab, lighting, screen, scale, finish, and fabrication. Customers should confirm the actual material and written scope before acceptance.
Workmanship terms must be written
The website does not create a seven-day punch-list promise, warranty period, coverage decision, response deadline, repair promise, refund, or other workmanship remedy. Any applicable window, reporting method, inspection process, covered scope, exclusions, response timing, and remedy must be stated in accepted written project paperwork approved by the owner and attorney.
- Exclusion topics under review: material variation, third-party product warranties, customer damage, care/maintenance issues, hidden substrate or cabinet problems, plumbing/electrical work, and changes outside the approved countertop scope.
Calls, email, and SMS
Candys may use the contact information a customer provides to respond to the project request, schedule review, prepare quotes, and support the project. Optional text messages follow the SMS Policy and are limited to the project unless a separate approved opt-in covers another use.
- SMS consent is optional and is not required to buy anything or request a quote.
- Project communication may continue by phone or email when SMS is unavailable, not approved, or opted out.
Photos and public use
Optional uploaded project photos are private project-review materials used for estimating, pricing, support, and quote preparation. Accepted images are re-encoded and stripped of embedded metadata. External AI-assisted analysis is currently disabled and may not be enabled without an approved vendor/data-use path, updated disclosure, and human review. Candys does not treat an upload as permission to publish or train an AI system without separate, specific customer and owner approval.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to or rely on outside providers for infrastructure, database/authentication, private storage, address autocomplete, email, approved SMS, monitoring, suppliers, or other business tools. Those providers have their own terms, privacy notices, availability, fees, and approval rules. Financing and online payments are not currently offered through this site.
Accessibility and language help
Candys intends to provide meaningful access to its website and project information. A visitor who has trouble using the site or needs project information in another accessible format should contact Candys for help. English and Spanish public pages are intended to communicate the same meaning; customer-specific accepted paperwork and any legally required language-specific notice control the actual project.
Questions and updates
Candys may update these website terms as providers, features, or business processes change. The last-updated date identifies the current posted version. A website update does not retroactively change accepted project paperwork. Questions and accessibility requests can be sent through the contact options shown on this page.
